Lucille Freer

Lucille Freer, 78, of Ivan, died Thursday September 2, 2010. She was born in Crossett Arkansas on March 29, 1932 to the late John Allen & Lillie Mae Sutton. Mrs. Freer was a homemaker & a member of the Zion Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Earl Freer of Ivan, AR; five daughters, Rita Ford & her husband Donny of Ivan, AR, Donna Garlington & her husband Larry of Hope, AR, Connie Reed & her husband, Chris of FT. Worth, TX, Anita Gorman & her husband Darrell of Minden, LA, Laura Bynum & her husband Michael of Conway, AR; a brother, Johnny Sutton of Lampasas, TX; a sister, Annette Rauls of Warren, AR; twelve grandchildren, Julie Ford Holland, Tommy Ford, Abbey Garlington Sims, Amy Garlington Neathery, Charlsie Reed, Allie Reed, Owen Stell, Katherine Stell, Gracyn Gorman, Brooke Bynum, Kayla Bynum, Madeline Bynum; eight grandchildren, Taylor, Emma, Addison & Macy Holland, Haden & Landon Ford, & Carter & Claire Sims. Mrs. Freer was preceded in death by her brother, James Sutton, & a sister, Hattie Greenwood.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday September 4, 2010 at the Zion Baptist Church. Burial will be in Wright Cemetery, with the Rev. Nick Flowers, & Rev. James Ray Raines officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
