Loyd G. McMan of Fordyce passed away on July 4, 2017 at the age of 82 at St. John's Place. He was born April 25, 1935 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Guy B. McMan and Mittie White McMan. He was a member of Prosperity Baptist Church. He was a Mason, a member of the Arkansas Army National Guard, where he was a mess hall sergeant and he was also a member of the Fordyce Fire Department for a number of years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy B. McMan and Mittie White McMan; one son, David Wayne McMan; two brothers, Arvil McMan and Bob McMan; and one sister, Opheila Potter.
He is survived by two daughters, Mitzi (Mike) Garlington of Fordyce, Melanie (Steve) Robertson of Little Rock; one sister, Dorla Guenzel of Batesville; two grandsons, Alan Lane (Keturah) Quimby of Cabot, and Travis (Mary) Garlington of Conway; two great grandchildren, Owen and Sawyer Garlington of Conway; and a host of nieces and nephews.
