Louis Clinton Howard

Louis Clinton "Sonny" Howard, 68, of Little Rock died Thursday March 19, 2009 at his home. Born February 17, 1941 in Longview, TX, he was a son of the late Louis and Nona Newton Howard. Mr. Howard was a member of Geyer Springs Baptist Church and a Mason. He was a retired driver of Yellow Freight. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Louis D. Howard, and a grandson, Andrew Howard. Mr. Howard is survived by his wife, Norma Howard of Little Rock; son, Landon Howard and his wife, Karen of North Little Rock; daughter, Kim Bentley and her husband David of Bauxite; sister, Louise Bradshaw of Madrid, Spain; one granddaughter, Addison Howard; two step-grandsons, Derrick and Dylan Bentley. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Benton Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Harold Harper and Howard Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Stoney Point Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. The family expresses most grateful appreciation for the care provided by Dr. Gail McCracken, Ginger Whitaker, Dr. Lynn Davis, and the staff of Arkansas Hospice.
