Lorice Ramsay Dunlap, 87, of Holly Springs died Wednesday at her home. She was born October 14, 1921 in Holly Springs. She was a retired merchant and a member of Holly Springs Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Earl Alexander and Nannie Lou Hogg Alexander; husbands, Marvin Ramsay and Raymon Dunlap; son, Lynn Ramsay and one brother, J.E. Alexander.

She is survived by her son, Ron Ramsay & his wife Patty of Holly Springs, AR; a daughter, Sylvia Ramsay Savage & her husband Royce of Sparkman, AR; a brother, Bob Alexander of Mobile, AL; two sisters, Dorothy Elliott of Mt. Vernon, IL, Vada Howze of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; seven grandchildren, Alison Thompson of Whitehouse, TX, Lane Thompson of San Diego, CA, Rex Thompson of San Diego, CA, Leah Robbins of Miami, FL, Brian Ramsay of Conway, AR, Lori McJunkins of Malvern, AR, Corey Ramsay of Benton, AR; & five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Friday January 16, 2009 at the Holly Springs Methodist Church. Burial will be in New Holly Springs Cemetery, with the Rev. James Harris & Sister Ellen Horseman officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home in Bearden. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Holly Springs Methodist Church, 23 Dallas 260, Sparkman, AR 71763 or to the Ouachita County Medical Center Hospice, P.O.
