Lori Morgan Nichols

Lori Morgan Nichols, age 46 of Fordyce, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 25, 2013 after her ten year long battle with cancer. Lori was a devoted wife and mother, she loved children, and chose keeping kids as her life's passion, being a stay at home mom and babysitting for several years up until her diagnosis.

She was a faithful lifetime member of Temple Baptist Church where she taught and ministered to children. She taught Sunday School, Children's Choir, Awanas, and later served as the church's Sunday school secretary. Lori loved life and greeted it and every adversity along the way with a smile. She cherished her family and friends and loved spending time with each of them.

She was preceded in death by her mother Lanelle Henderson Morgan. She is survived by her husband Warren Nichols of Fordyce; her son Kyle Nichols of Fordyce; her daughter Suellen Nichols of Fordyce; her father Larry Morgan and wife Betty of Fordyce; her sister Lisa Nutt and husband Bret of Fordyce; her grandmother Martha Jean Morgan of Knoxville, TN; eight nieces, one nephew, and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6 PM until 8 PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services are 10 AM Monday at Temple Baptist Church in Fordyce.
