Lora Lorene Maxine Mcmanus

Lora Lorene Maxine McManus was born August 23, 1941. She went home to be with the Lord our Savior February 5, 2014 at age 72. Maxine was such a fun loving spirited person. If you knew her, you loved her. She was Assembly of God Denomination. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Gerdie Baker; son, Donald Kirby; brother, Bill Freeman, sisters, Mae Cheek and Bertha McDonald and two great-grandchildren. She is survived by a sister, Wanda Rousseau of Calhoun, GA; brother, Bennie Baker of Calhoun, GA. Her children include Lora Ann and Donovan Daniel of Hampton, AR, Tammy Vires of Portageville, MO, Richard and Melanie Kirby of Camden, Jackie and Earnest Olvey of Camden. Grandchildren include Angelica Kirby of Rison, Pansy Kirby of Fordyce, Kade Stringfellow of Poplar Bluff, MO, Halley Mollock of Hampton, Megan Nash of Bearden, Devan Daniel of Hampton, Lucas Vires, Angela Vires, Shannon Vires, James Vires III all of Portageville, MO, Bryce Saxbury of Palmyra, MO, Zachary Kirby of Camden, Dakota Kirby of Camis, WA, Dustin Kirby, Seth Baldwin, Rebecca Baldwin, Jasmine Cowell and Jessica Cowell all of Camden, Colton Adams and Haven Adams of Camden. She is survived by five great-grandchildren. Maxine had several friends that were considered family. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Watson Cemetery at Tinsman. A memorial fund to help with funeral costs has been set up at First Bank.
