Lola Grace Newton Cotton, 93 of Hampton died Wednesday November 25, 2009 at Life Touch Hospice in El Dorado. Born August 1, 1916 in Calhoun County, she was the daughter of the late Jepha Ira Newton and Minnie Lee Poole Newton. She was a Registered Nurse and a member of Campground Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ernest Rockwell Cotton; four brothers, James Worth Newton, Taylor Jones Newton, Jeff Davis Newton, Henry Clifton Newton; one nephew, Jeff Newton, Jr.; one great-nephew, Robert Allen Bruce. She is survived by a nephew, Charles Newton (Dixie) of Camden; four nieces, Joy Newton Faulk (Arnold) of Waldo, Joan Newton Ingram (Bill) of Hampton, Frances Newton Hood (Paul) of Hampton, Sarah Newton Morrow (Dennis) of Benton. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Campground Presbyterian Church with Revs. Garland Skidmore and Skip Shanley officiating. Burial at Campground Cemetery.
