Lois I. Sullivent, 78, of Bearden, Arkansas, died April 22, 2009 at St. John's nursing facility in Fordyce, AR.
She was born June 12, 1930, in Uvalde, TX, the daughter of the late Jimmy and Ellen Buchanan. She was the oldest of three siblings. She married the late Hubert Jackson Sullivent.
Mrs. Sullivent was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church of Bearden.
She is survived by her nine children: Ray Sullivent (Susan) of Hot Springs, AR; Tommy Sullivent (Peggy) of Hampton, AR; Jackie Young (Jimmy) of Searcy, AR; Mike Sullivent (Rose) of Bearden, AR; Barbara Biviano (Mark) of Searcy, AR; Patricia Sindle (Larry) of Tinsman, AR; Georgann Braswell (Eddie) of Warren, AR; Randy Sullivent (Melva) of Warner Robbins, GA; and Darlene Mahla (Dan) of Jacksonville, FL; one brother: James Buchanan of Albuquerque, NM and many loving and adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Sullivent was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy & Ellen Buchanan; her husband, Hubert (Curly) Sullivent; an infant child (Delinda); and her sister, Louise (Dewey) Buchanan.
Visitation will be Friday 6pm until 8pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday at First United Methodist Church of Bearden.
