Lois C. Raney

Lois C. Raney, 82, of Fordyce died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. She was born March 27, 1928 in Dallas County. She was a homemaker and a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church in Fordyce. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard C. McMahan and Julia Garlington McMahan; her husband, Rex Raney and one sister, Betty Sue Parker. She is survived by two daughters, Sue Raney Hays of Houston, TX and Brenda Raney Bumpas of Fordyce; one sister, Joyce Williams of Fordyce; four grandchildren, Donna Livingston of La Porte, TX, Greg Kaase of Houston, TX, Willie R. Bumpas of Rison and Shelia Williams of Hot Springs; four great-grandchildren, Rex Kasse of Houston, TX, Krystal Bumpas and Willie R. Bumpas, III both of Rison and Justin Williams of Hot Springs. Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday at Benton Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Petty officiating.
