Lloyd Wilton Reaves

Lloyd Wilton "Buddy" Reaves, 74, of New Edinburg, AR, died Wednesday September 7, 2011 at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR. Mr. Reaves was born in New Edinburg, AR on April 16, 1937 to the late Lovett Wilton & Addie Mae Towery Reaves. Mr. Reaves honorably & faithfully served his country in the United Air Force. He was a retired service man for Tyson Foods, & a member of the Chapel Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Reaves was an avid hunter & fisherman.

Mr. Reaves is survived by his three sons, Tim Reaves & his wife Barbara of New Edinburg, AR, Chuck Reaves & wife Dana of Benton, AR, Brent Reaves & wife Alexis of Cabot, AR; a step-son, seven step-daughters; a brother, Jimmy Ray Reaves of New Edinburg, AR; three sisters, Norma Fay McCoy of New Edinburg, AR, Martha Ann Cook of Kingsland, AR, Diana Harton of Monticello, AR; six grandchildren, & five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sue McClellan.

Graveside services are 10:00 AM Saturday September 10, 2011 at the Reaves Cemetery, with the Rev. Dewayne Ashcraft officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
