Linda S. Smead

Linda Smead, 66 of Mabelvale, died Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at her home. She was born February 12, 1944 in Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her mother, Levetta Attwood Heifner; four brothers, Tony, Stevie Paul, Marvin Lee and Eddie Ray Heifner and one sister, Marlene Kumpe. She is survived by her husband, Norman Smead of Mabelvale; one daughter, Angela Kumpe of Sheridian; her father, Roy Heifner, Sr. of Little Rock; two brothers, Roy Heifner, Jr. and Richard Heifner both of Little Rock; seven sisters, Melba McEntire and Tina Mitchell both of Little Rock, Lisa Harness of Jacksonville, Anita Berardi of North Little Rock, Flossie Heifner, Teresa Butler and Lillie Mae Heifner all of Little Rock; two grandchildren, Justin and Jeremy Kumpe of Sherdian. Visitation will be Friday 6pm until 8pm at Bingham Road Baptist Church in Little Rock. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
