Linda Marvelon Gardner

Linda Marvelon Gardner, age 78, of Round Rock, TX died Thursday May 6, 2021.
She was born on March 22, 1943, in Fordyce, AR, she was the daughter of Odie Mae and Marvin Langley.
Linda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cecily and Steve Rodgers, of Fort Worth, TX, and son and daughter-in-law David and Haley Gardner of Round Rock, TX. Grandchildren are Hannah and Seth Rodgers of Fort Worth, TX; Jack and Mackenna Gardner of Round Rock, TX. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Sharon Langley of Katy, Texas.
Linda was preceded in death by both of her parents, Marvin Langley and Odie Mae Langley-Files, and her brother, Robert L. Langley.
Linda was an incredibly loving and devoted daughter, mother, and grandmother. She was known for her care and compassion for others personally and professionally. She worked her entire career as a Registered Nurse and most loved her work with hospice in Tulsa, Ok. After she retired, Linda enjoyed bird watching, quilting, and attending First Baptist Church in Round Rock, Texas.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, May 12 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Nathan Petty officiating. Burial will be in Stoney Point Cemetery by Benton Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of Green Country in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
