Linda Ann Estes Chambers, 79, of Monticello died Thursday September 16, 2021 at The Woods of Monticello. Born August 30, 1942 at Kingsland, she was the daughter of the late Johnny W. Estes and Ruth I. Selman Estes. She worked as a manager in administration at the Dallas County Hospital for 39 years and was a member of Second Baptist Church of Monticello. She loved to cook and was known for giving food to her friends and family.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Brian Wilson and her step-father, Charlie Rogers. She is survived by her husband, James Ed Chambers of Monticello; two sons, Butch Wilson and his wife Nancy of New Edinburg, Scott Chambers and his wife Monica of Fordyce; three grandchildren, Cassidy Wilson, Brooke Chambers, Braden Chambers; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Stoney Point Cemetery with Rev. Ray Hearron officiating. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
