Lewis Sheridan Freer

Lewis Sheridan Freer, 77 of Ivan died Sunday June 24, 2012 at the Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. Born October 14, 1934 in Fordyce, he was a son of the late Phillip Sheridan and Ellen Morgan Freer. Mr. Freer was the owner and operator of Freer Packing Co. in Ivan. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Freer. He is survived by his wife, Annette Freer of Ivan; son Rick Freer and his wife, Angie of Prescott; daughter Gay Anthony and her husband, Steve of Fordyce; brother Ron Freer and his wife, Judy of Gurdon; sister Ruth Rothwell and her husband, Richard of Grenada, MS; grandchildren Addison Anthony of Little Rock, Wilson Anthony of Fordyce, and Brycelynn Calhoun of Prescott. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Hampton Springs Cemetery with Rev.
