Leroy Franklin Rhoades, Jr.

Leroy Franklin Rhoades, Jr., age 72 of Fordyce, passed away at St. John's Place in Fordyce, Arkansas on Tuesday, June 30, 2009. He was born in New London, Ohio on May 24, 1937. He lived in LaGrange, Ohio until moving to Fordyce last August.
He served in the U.S. Army for four years. He was retired from the Keystone School in LaGrange where he worked as a custodian.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Violet Porath; a step-father, Leonard Porath; two uncles, Roy Felver and Elton Felver; and an aunt, Irene McFadden.
He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Ira and Jeanette Rhoades of Carthage, AR; one niece, Athena King of Fordyce, AR; one great nephew, Dustin King; two great nieces, Amanda and Amelia King.
The family will have visitation Thursday, July 2, 2009, from 7 PM until 9 PM at the home of Athena King, 312 West 3rd, Fordyce, Arkansas. A private burial will be at Garner Cemetery by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
