Leonard Alton Miller, 84 of Abilene, TX, died Tuesday, December 1, 2015. He was born August 1, 1931 in Crossett to the late Joseph E. and Verna Brown Miller. He was preceded in death by his brother Vernon Miller and two sisters Virginia King and Ernestine Stanley.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Atkins Miller of Abilene, Texas; four children: Michael Miller and wife Kathy of Tyler, Texas, Alisa Goodman and husband Terry of Tyler, Jana Turner and husband John of Prosper, Texas, and Stuart Miller of Abilene; eight grandchildren: Jennifer Worth of Sweetwater, Texas, Matthew Miller of Abilene, Sarah Miller of Abilene, Mason Miller of College Station, Texas, Layne Goodman of Tyler, Troy Miller of Tyler, Alysse Miller of Tyler, and Clark Turner of Prosper.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6PM until 8PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2PM Friday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery near New Edinburg. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
