Lennie Opal Davis, 93, of Pine Bluff died Friday October 17, 2008 at Lakewood Nursing & Rehab in North Little Rock. She was born December 15, 1914 in Kingsland, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member of Providence Baptist Church in Pine Bluff. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lucy Gates Golden; her husband, Hughie Davis; two brothers, Ora Golden and Edward Golden; three sisters, Vera Mae Collins, Vergie Saeler and Mildred Golden; one great-grandchild, Gerald Hankins. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Leon and Hazel Griffith of Pine Bluff; one daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Jimmy Herrod of Pine Bluff; one brother, Virgil Golden of Kingsland; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Monday at Watson Gum-Grove Cemetery near Kingsland with Rev. Lewis Langley officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
