Larry Wayne Robinson

Nov 6, 1952 — Jul 29, 2026

Fordyce, AR

Larry Wayne Robinson, age 73, of Fordyce, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, at his home.

Larry was born on November 6, 1952, in Fordyce to Garland and Vida Robinson. He was a beloved father, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle and friend.

Larry was an avid outdoorsman, spending most of his adult life working in the logging industry. He had a great love for hunting, especially turkey hunting, a love which he passed on to many relatives and friends. He thoroughly enjoyed taking others turkey hunting and helping them learn the art of the hunt.

Larry was well known for his sense of humor and the frequent pranks he loved to pull, such as sneaking up on others and scaring them while wearing a full-body gorilla costume or attaching a fake rattlesnake to the inside of an ice chest so that it moved and rattled when the lid was opened. People could always count on Larry making them laugh. Larry was also known for his compassionate and giving spirit as he was always willing to help people and animals in need.

Larry is survived by his wife, Paula Robinson; children, Garth Robinson of Alexander, Nick (Jennifer) Robinson of New Edinburg, Crystal (Cory) Culp of Bismarck, and Johnathan Ledbetter of Fordyce; grandchildren, Conner and Chloe Robinson of Alexander, Bryant and JB Robinson of New Edinburg, Carter Culp of Bismarck, and JoJo Ledbetter of Fordyce; brother, Rex Robinson of Fordyce; sisters, Margie (Dan) Womack of Wave, Jackie Jeffus of Camden, and Margaret (James) Garner of Fordyce, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Deitra Marks Robinson; and sister, Mary McClain.

Larry will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Morning Meadow Animal Rescue, a rescue that was near and dear to Larry’s heart.
