Lanta Mae Meece

Lanta Mae Berryhill Meece, 92, of Fordyce died Friday October 10, 2014 at Salem Place Nursing and Rehab in Conway. Born November 28, 1921 at Guin, AL, she was a daughter of the late William Alonzo and Mattie K. O'Mary Berryhill. She was a Primitive Baptist and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne Meece; daughter, Waynette Kee; granddaughter, Tiffany Bryant. She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Graves (Weldon) of Conway, Cindy Bryant (Jim) of Conway; grandchildren Kathy Klein, Tammy Courtney, Mike Kee, Mark Bryant; seven great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Elders Hartsel and Paul Cayce officiating. Burial will follow at Stoney Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:30 p.m. until service time at Benton Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
