Kimberly Jean Griffin

Kimberly Jean Eaton, Norris, Griffin was born in Festus Missouri, on August 7, 1960 and passed away in her home in New Edinburg on Sept 9, 2025. She is preceded in death by her mother Evelyn Lucille Norris, her sister Rebecca Joanne Clanton, sister Kathryn Marie Spence, brother Donnie Norris and two nieces, Jenny Clanton and Jayden Candler.

She graduated New Edinburg High School and was a longtime dispatcher for the Fordyce Police Department, but her passion was playing and writing music, she was a self -taught guitar player perfecting her craft since before she was a teenager. She has had several jobs throughout adulthood, but she never quit pursuing her dream of music and she has accumulated many accolades throughout her music career.

She is survived by her stepfather, James Alfred Norris; a stepdaughter, Amy Michelle Griffin; sibling, Doug and Nina Candler, Steve and Gwen Candler, Mary and Myles Parker, Karen and Fred Burkardt, and Jimmy Norris, many nieces and nephews and a multitude of special friends and fellow musicians.
