Kenneth G. Clemons

Kenneth G. Clemons, 83, of Thornton died Friday January 22, 2016 at his home. Born February 7, 1932 in Calhoun County, he was a son of the late William E. Clemons and Clara Bell Clemons. He was a member of the Hopeville Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Karl Lynn Clemons. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Jeanette Clemons of Thornton; son, James A. Clemons (Nelda S.); two daughters, Linda J. Winter (James P.) of Thornton, Juanita M. Eggers (Mitchell D.) of Pearland, TX; three brothers, Joseph Don Clemons of Thornton, Donald G. Clemons of Little Rock, William D. Clemons of Thornton; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in honor of Kenneth Clemons to the Clemons Cemetery Association 633 North Locust Thornton, AR 71766. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 pm. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel.
