Katie L. Grice Davis, 58, of Prattsville, AR, died Monday June 30, 2008 at the St. Joseph's Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs, AR. She was born in Calhoun County Arkansas on September 20, 1949 to the late Inick Hardie & Glois Drummond Davis.
She is survived by her son Robert Grice & wife Larissa of Prattsville, AR; three daughters, Tammie Kersey of Prattsville, AR, Tina Gilbert & husband Bubba of Prattsville, AR, Kelly Gaither & husband Randy of Benton, AR; a son in-law, John Montgomery of Benton, AR; a brother, Jimmie Davis of Pine Bluff, AR; a sister, Glenna Griffis of Reno, NV; nine grandchildren, Tifanie Gilbert, Kristy Gilbert, Shane Gilbert, Jessie Montgomery, Anthony Cheshier, Cameron King, Logan King, Aaron Grice, Kara Grice; & four great grandchildren, Kaylee Yates, Jeremy York, Tyler Yates, & Jadelyn Ellis. Ms. Grice was preceded in death by four brothers, JC, JD, Junior, & Bufford Davis.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm July 5, 2008 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will in Earnest Cemetery, with the Rev. Marilyn Tetrick officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. A special thanks to Dr. Randy Hill & St. Joseph's ICU medical staff & extra special thanks to Cathy & Ken. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
