Karen Ann Daugherty, 59 of Fordyce, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, May 20, 2015. She was born March 7, 1956 in Camden, Arkansas to the late John W. and Donna M. Pennington Reynolds.
She graduated from Bearden High School in 1974 and was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Jacinto. She loved being a mother, wife, homemaker, and was proud to be called a Red Hat Lady. She loved cooking, reading, painting, and her hats.
She is survived by her husband John T. Daugherty of Fordyce; her son John S. Daugherty and wife Marsha of Natchitoches, Louisiana; three grandchildren: Grace Ann Sanders, Slade Sanders, and Crislee Ann Daugherty all of Natchitoches; her aunt Geneva Jones of California; many other aunts, uncles, and cousins; her brother Mike Reynolds and wife Suzanne of Holly Springs; and a niece Megan Launius.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 6PM until 8PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services are 2PM Saturday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Earnest Cemetery.
