June Geneva Furr

June Geneva Furr, 89, of Hampton died Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado. She was born April 9, 1929 in Poyen, Arkansas. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Hampton. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Ferguson and Fannie Williams Ferguson; husband, James E. Furr; four brothers and four sisters. She is survived by four daughters, Linda Purifoy, Judy Barksdale, Mary Madera and Paula Murphy all of Hampton; one sister, Maxine Dotson of AZ; twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Graveside services are 2:00 pm Friday at New Hope Cemetery near Hampton with Rev. Mike Nutt and Rev. Keith Nutt officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
