Joyce Elaine Raney

Joyce Elaine Raney, 88 of Fordyce, passed away Monday, August 24, 2026 in Camden. She was born July 23, 1938 in Grant County, Arkansas to the late Elton Riggan and Helen Martine Reid Riggan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Raney; her sister, Jasmine Elliott; her brother, Norman Riggan; and her grandson, Jacob O’Mary.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fordyce and of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her three children: Gaylon L. Raney (Melinda) of Kingsland, Laurie Middleton (Lamar Owlen) of Camden, and Andrea Shillings (Jeff) of Fordyce; one sister, Patricia Gail Riggin (Tommy) of Leola; two grandchildren, Grant Raney (Heather) of Magnolia and Daniel Raney (Maggie) of Fordyce; five great grandchildren: Taylor, Haylee, Chloe, Clay, and Rowan; and a host of nieces and nephews.
