Josephine E. Otis

Josephine E. Otis, 80, of Bearden died Monday, August 16, 2010 at Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock. She was born June 14, 1930 in Bearden, Arkansas. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Bearden and she also worked for the City of Bearden for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer H. and Susie Hollis Bowman and one sister, Norma "Leasie" Cain. She is survived by two sons, Edward A. Otis of Lomita, CA and William E. Otis of Conway, AR; one daughter, Elizabeth G. Lorusso of Chino, CA; three sisters, Jean Ledbetter of England, AR, Geneva Biggers and Daisy Jarvis both of Bearden, AR; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Saturday at First Southern Baptist Church in Bearden with Dr. Mike Montalbano and Jackie Bevill officiating. Burial at Moss Cemetery in Bearden.
