Joseph Norman "Nunner" Ryan, Jr., 73, of Camden died Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden. He was born November 7, 1940 in Bearden, Arkansas. He was a Vietnam Army veteran and a member of Rolling Hills Assembly of God Church in Stephens. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Norman Ryan, Sr. and Hazel Marie Pate Ryan; one son, Joseph Michael Ryan and one sister, Dixie Doherty. He is survived by one son, Gene Ryan of Chidester; four daughters, Debbie Foster of Searcy, Teresa Phillips of Camden, Tina Collins of Arkadelphia, Connie Sue Ryan of Little Rock; three brothers, Gene Ryan, Jimmy Ryan and Steve Ryan all of Camden; four sisters, Doris Ezell of Baytown, TX, Joanie Harcrow, Martha Phillips and Sarah Brown all of Camden; nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Moss Hill Cemetery near Bearden.
