Jordan Paigelyn Hartpence, 20, of Fordyce, AR passed away in a car accident on Saturday, June 1, 2019.
Jordan was born on November 24, 1998 in Plano, TX and lived in Carrollton, TX until 2019. She was a 2017 high school graduate and worked as a 911 Dispatcher at the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office in Fordyce. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was a member of NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Jordan was a proud and happy example of a survivor living and succeeding daily with mental illness. Jordan loved her dogs, her family, and her friends (in that order) and lived life to its fullest.
Jordan is survived by her parents, Tim and Jaime Hartpence of Carrollton, TX and her grandmother, Sandra Totty Wilson, of Fordyce, AR. Jordan is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins in Arkansas, Texas, West Virginia, and across the United States, as well as her beloved Sasha and Daisy.
Jordan is preceded in death by her grandparents Willard and Bonnie Hartpence of Borger, TX, James P. “Jim” Wilson of Magnolia, AR, and Jimmy and Shirley Pratt Davis of Parsons, WV.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4th, from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Services will be held on Wednesday, June 5th, at 11:00AM at Benton Funeral Home and will be officiated by Bro. Wade Totty and Bro. Mike White. The committal service will follow at 2:00PM at Ebenezer United Methodist Church near Stephens, AR.
