Johnnie Mae Nutt, 87, of Pasadena, TX died Wednesday November 26, 2008 at Bayshore Medical Center in Pasadena, TX. She was born April 1, 1921 in Blountstown, FL. She was a retired supervisor for Nabisco and early in her life she worked in a circus as a trapeze artist. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thom Newsom and Bessie Edenfield Newsom, her husband, Roy William Nutt, two sisters, Mabel Johnson and Velma Herman. She is survived by three sons, Leon S. Nutt of Pasadena, TX, Roy Nutt, Jr. of Pasadena, TX, Robin Nutt of Houston, TX; one daughter, Eva Hopkins of Henderson, TX; eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with Rev. Billy Joe Evans officiating. Burial at Stoney Point Cemetery. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
