Johnnie Nell Leopard Earnest, 76, of Fordyce died Saturday, April 16, 2011 at St. John's Place in Fordyce. She was born May 5, 1934 in Cole Spur, Arkansas. She was retired from Fordyce Picture Frame and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosco and Rosada Andrews Leopard; brother, Earl Leopard; sisters, Minnie Belle Brown and Beatrice Marquise. She is survived by three sons, Rex Earnest of Fordyce, Russell Earnest of Calion, Philip Earnest of Tinsman; one daughter, Melissa King and husband Eric of Thornton; sisters, Eddie Crow, Doris Baxter and Lois Addison; seven grandchildren, Andrew King, Matthew King, Ashley King and Zach King all of Thornton, Haley Earnest and Emily Earnest of Banks, and Christina Jones of Smackover. Visitation will be Monday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with Todd Easterling and Buddy McDade officiating. Burial at Earnest Cemetery.
