John W. "Jake" Rich, age 78, of Jessieville, formerly of Fordyce passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016. He was born July 7, 1938 in Fordyce, Arkansas, a son of the late William A. and Minnie A. Allen Rich. Jake was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Audrey E. Rich.
Survivors include two sons, John W. Rich, Jr. of Ivan, Christopher N. Rich and his wife, Angie of Fordyce; one daughter, Gayle Rich of Jessieville; two granddaughters, Jessica M. Rich of Fordyce, Ashley Keeton of Fordyce; one sister, Erva R. Childs of Arlington, Texas and one brother, Bill Rich of Parkers Chapel.
The family will receive friends at the home of Chris Rich in Fordyce. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, Inc. Cremation arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. You may sign the online guestbook at www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
