Joella Ruth Reaves, 77 of New Edinburg, Arkansas died Tuesday, March 8, 2011. She was born February 18, 1934 in Dumas, Arkansas to the late Jim C. and Dica Curtis Scott. She was also preceded in death by her husband, JP Reaves; her son, Jackie Paul Reaves; five brothers, and four sisters.
She is survived by two daughters, Joy Camden and husband Kevin of Batesville and Patty Higginbotham and husband Bo of Crossett; one sister, Versie Barnes of Sherman, TX; six grandchildren, Jodi Reaves and Jennifer Bryant, both of New Edinburg, Kristen Davis and Josh Carlson, both of Batesville, Bailey and Hunter Higginbotham, both of Crossett; and three great-grandchildren, Jack and Nate Bryant of New Edinburg, and Kameron Davis of Batesville.
Funeral services are 1 PM Saturday at First Assembly of God Church in McGehee. Burial at Tillar Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday, 10 AM until 11:30 AM at the church. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.com .
