Joe Stone, 80, of Calion died Monday, March 11, 2019 at his home. He was born July 4, 1938 in Billstown, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Stone and Eva Starks Stone; wife, Janet Lamb Stone; son, Tim Stone; two brothers, Dallas Stone and Hollis Stone; five sisters, Geraldine Stone, Joyce Clay, Nelda Harris, Linda Stone, and Cle King. He is survived by his wife, Kay Allison Stone of Calion; two daughters, Jody Wood and Meredith Stone of El Dorado; one step son, Joey Word of El Dorado; one step daughter, Melissa Conkling of Houston, TX; three sisters, Billie Lockeby of Delight, Carolyn Quinney of Gurdon, Minda May of Delight; four grandchildren, Mark (Caitlyn) Wood , Caleb Wood, Braxton Lewis, Blakely Lewis all of El Dorado; one step grandchild, Kristin Hall of El Dorado; three great grandchildren, Lelani Hall, Jude Wood, and Elija Wood all of El Dorado.
