Joe Michael Bryant, 59, of New Edinburg died Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Bradley County Medical Center in Warren, Arkansas. He was born May 31, 1954 in Fordyce, Arkansas. He was a member of Smith Chapel Church of God and was a Ranger II firefighter for the Arkansas Forestry Commission. He is survived by his wife, Terry Lynn Bryant of New Edinburg; one son and daughter-in-law, Daniel Nathan and Jennifer Bryant of New Edinburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Emily Ruth and Ryan Weeks of East End; parents, Billy and Amelia Bryant of New Edinburg; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Tim Reaves of New Edinburg, Lea Ann and Coy Price of Maumelle; five grandchildren, Noah Weeks of East End, Jack Bryant of New Edinburg, Mallory Weeks of East End, Nate Bryant and Sadie Bryant of New Edinburg; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday noon until 1:30 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday at Benton Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Matthews officiating.
