Joe Boiter, 82, of Fordyce, died Friday June 10, 2011 at the Dallas County Medical Center. Mr. Boiter was born in Seneca, South Carolina, on October 8, 1928 to the late James A. & Annie Boiter. He was a retired maintenance worker for the Civil Service.
He is survived by his son, Kenny Bailey & wife Myrna of Little Rock, AR; a daughter, Janie Shrum & husband Ken of Fordyce, AR; six grandchildren, & ten great grandchildren. Mr. Boiter was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Boiter.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday June 13, 2011 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery,with the Rev. Clifton Marshall officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
