Jo Ann Welch, 74, of Hampton died Thursday, October 13, 2016. She was born November 4, 1941 in Murray County, GA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Millard Curtis Stewart and Ruby Lee Thomas; husband, B.H. "Poncho" Welch, Jr.; daughter, Debra Lee; granddaughter, Lacey Welch; and great granddaughter, Lexi Welch. She is survived by ten children; Michael (Vickie) Welch of Bearden, Timmy (Vickie) Welch of Chatsworth, GA, James (Kathy) Welch of Camden, Sandra West of Bald Knob, Mary Lynn Earnest of Jamestown, ND, Marilyn "Punkin" (Tony) Moser of Hampton, Frankie Chavers of Bearden, Jackie Welch of North Little Rock, Curtis (Brandy) Welch of Hampton, Jim (Nikki) Welch of Hampton; one sister Aline Pena of Clovis, NM; twenty eight grandchildren, fifty great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Hampton First Assembly of God Church with Rev.
