Jimmy Dale Freeman

Jimmy Dale Freeman, age 61, of Sparkman, died September 1, 2012 at his home. He was born September 14, 1950. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph "Shorty" and Katie Sue Hickman Freeman; and one brother, Kenny Freeman.

He was an avid deer hunter, fisherman, and Razorback fan. Jimmy's greatest joy was being a grandfather, father and loving his brothers, sisters and family.

He is survived by his son, Jason (Ashley) Freeman of Hot Springs; granddaughters, Mya Maxwell and Allie Freeman; sisters, Daisy Lamb of Harmony Grove, Betty Purifoy of Bearden, Billie Jo (Marvin) Selph of Sparkman; brothers, Winford (Jenny) Freeman of Sparkman, Rev. Raymond (Libby) Freeman of Millry, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Monday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday at Sparkman First Baptist Church in Sparkman.
