Jimmie E. Ables, 76, of Hampton went to be with the Lord Thursday September 7, 2017 at her home. Born May 22, 1941 in Bradley County, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Bradford and Eva Herrin Bradford. She was a member of the Hampton First Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Becky Teater and Brenda Lou Ables; two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Murl Ables of Hampton; one son, Don Ables and wife Tina of Kilgore, TX; two daughters, Bonnie Marcantel and husband Vernon of Hampton, Belinda Johnson and husband Stacey of Hampton; two brothers, Lynn Bradford of Camden, Johnny Bradford of Fordyce; three sisters, Myrtis Ables of Hampton, Peggy Sullivent of Hampton, Vickie Deal of El Dorado; nine grandchildren, Mandie Jones, Brent Teater, Bridget Bryant, Heather Kay Barber, Colt Ables, Kasie Bryant, DJ Bryant, Emma Marcantel, Cajun Johnson; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Hampton First Assembly of God. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Rickey Smith and Rev.
