Jessie Ray Lambert

Jessie Ray Lambert, 75, of Hampton died Thursday July 11, 2013 at his home. Born July 31, 1937 in Calhoun County, he was a son of the late Jessie Garland Lambert and Elizabeth Hall Lambert. Mr. Lambert was retired from building oil rigs and from logging. He loved to hunt, fish, trap, and play music with his friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wesley Lambert; sister, Lottie Haynes; and a grandson, Chaun Lambert. He is survived by his wife, Clydean Lambert of Hampton; three sons, Larry Dale Lambert (Cindy) of Hampton, Jerry Lambert (Angela) of Hampton, Roger Lambert (Mitzi) of Hampton; two daughters, Karen Rauls (Todd) of Jersey, Judy Southhall (Johnny) of Hampton; two sisters, Susie Carpenter of El Dorado, Marie Wood of Dermott; thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Tony Rinehart officiating.
