Jerry Wayne York

Jerry Wayne York, age 71 of Camden died Monday, June 22, 2026 at Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden, Arkansas. He was born November 7, 1954 in Thornton, Arkansas. He was a retired sawmill worker. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Wayne York and Davelene Butcher Childers; step-parents, Burl Childers and Joe Ella York. Jerry is survived by three brothers, David (Rhonda) Childers of Pineville, LA, David L. York and John York of Rison; one sister, Lisa (Billy) Boutte of Bearden; five nephews, Hunter Smith of Pineville, LA, BJ Smith of Gonzales, LA, David Wayne York of Greenbrier, Michael Ritchie of Russellville, Joey Crawford of Warroad, MN; three nieces, Rebecca Childers Coker of Dry Prong, LA, Regina Childers Vanover of Clarksville, Stacey Daughtery of Guy; several great nieces and great nephews; and a host of other friends and family.
