Jerry Edward Stamps, Sr.

Jerry Edward Stamps, Sr., 74, of Sparkman died Monday February 19, 2018 at Arkansas Hospice Inpatient in Hot Springs. Born March 23, 1943 at Kennett, MO, he was a son of the late Clyde Stamps and Letha May Benton Stamps. He is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kristina Harris and three brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Stamps of Sparkman; children, Dianna Stamps Shepherd (Brian) of Leola, Jerry Edward Stamps, Jr. (Amanda) of Sparkman, Joe D. Stamps (Marjie) of Bearden, Reggie Lee Stamps (Shawna) of Hot Springs, Monica Michelle Johnson (Dayton) of Sparkman; two brothers, Bimbo Stamps and Steve Alan Stamps of Michigan; sister, Jackie Ann Young of Cardwell, MO; grandchildren, Brice Shepherd, Blake Shepherd, Taylor Stamps, Elijah Stamps, Austin Stamps, Dylan Stamps; and a great-grandchild, Gunner Lee Shepherd.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Sparkman First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Sparkman First Baptist Church.
