Jerry Mike Jones, 56, of Fordyce, died Sunday June 6, 2010. Mr. Jones was born in Fordyce, AR on November 11, 1953. He was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church, & was retired from Georgia-Pacific.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sonya Williams Jones of Fordyce, AR; his mother, Susie Anna Black Jones of Fordyce, AR; a son, Jeremy Jones of Fordyce, AR; a daughter Robbie Jones of Fordyce, AR; a brother, Billy Jones of Fordyce, AR; & one granddaughter, Patricia Jones of Fordyce, AR. He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Jones.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, with the Rev. Franklin Williams & Rev. Paul Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
