Jeanie P. Cox

Jeanie P. Cox, 76, of Fordyce died Monday, July 22, 2013 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She was born October 24, 1936 in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Jeanie and her husband were retired partners of a heating and air conditioning business and also a real estate business. Jeanie attended Holly Springs Baptist Church in Holly Springs. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Patterson and Wilma Ward Patterson Moss; one son, Carl Cox; one daughter, Kathryn Ash; and one brother, Olen Patterson. She is survived by her husband, Virgil Cox of Fordyce; one son, Edward Sheppard of Fordyce; one daughter, Patricia A. Davis of Glacier, WA; three brothers, Robert Patterson of Clinton, Bill Patterson of Fairfield Bay, James Patterson of Proctor; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday at Benton Funeral Home with Brother David Dillard and Brother Danny Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Benton Cemetery.
