Jean Peeples Ross

Jean Peeples Ross, 77, died Monday, July 6, 2009 at her home in Thornton, Arkansas. She was born August 18, 1931 in Fordyce, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Thornton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Talmage and Vera Wood Peeples and one brother, John Peeples. She is survived by her husband, Jim Ross of Thornton; two sons, Marty Tolley and wife Pam of Darden, TN; Steve Tolley of Jackson, TN; one step-son, David Ross and wife Cindy of Greenbrier; one daughter, Rebecca Cash and husband Jackie of Jackson, TN; two step-daughters, Billie Jurgerson and husband David of Mansfield, TX, Joyce Jones and husband Scott of Burleson, TX; one brother, James H. Peeples of Frenchburg, KY; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to senders' favorite charity. Memorial services will be 10:00 am Thursday at Smith-Morgan Cemetery near New Edinburg with Rev. Andy Hughes officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
