Jane Abbott

Jane Abbott, 83, of Shreveport, LA, formerly of Kingsland, died Tuesday August 21, 2018 at Heritage Manor South in Shreveport. Born February 4, 1935 in Calhoun County, AR, she was a daughter of the late John Ellis and Lucy Hines Ellis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Duel Abbott; son, David Langford; sister, Charlotte Hucks; brother, Johnny Mack Ellis. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Livesay (Jimmy) of Shreveport, LA; step-son Ron Wood (Debbie) of Conway, AR; seven grandchildren, Sarah Livesay Roper (Casey), Josh Langford, Shelby Langford, Kyle Langford, Jonathan Wood, Carly Wood, Dawn Isaacs; eight great-grandchildren, Jackson, Charlie, Cael, Kealy and Henry Langford, Tyler Simms, Nathaniel Hart, Madison McMillan.

The family will receive friends 1:00 p.m. Saturday August 25, 2018 at Kingsland First Baptist Church with Funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Moss Cemetery at Bearden.
