James Wesley Hornaday

James Wesley Hornaday, age 76 of Fordyce died Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Jefferson Regional Hospital in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He was born December 27, 1947 in Newburgh, NY. He was a retired forester and an Army Vietnam veteran. He is preceded in death his parents, Wesley Utah Hornaday and Mildred Tubbs Hornaday; and one sister, Susan Hornaday. He is survived by three sons, Bill Hornaday of Bloomington, IN, Danny Hornaday of Jefferson, Steve (Christy) Hornaday of Maumelle; one daughter, Lori Freeman of Hot Springs; one sister, Linda West of Fordyce; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Thursday at Ebenezer Cemetery near Fordyce with Rev. Jacob Ricker.
