James "J.R." Stringfellow

James Richard "J.R." Stringfellow, 90 of Fordyce, died Monday, October 1, 2012. He was born December 12, 1921 in Cleveland County, Arkansas to the late Tom and Ollie Stringfellow. He was preceded in death by his sons Bill Stringfellow, James E. "Jimmy" Stringfellow, Thomas Eugene Stringfellow, Daniel Ray "Danny" Stringfellow, and daughter Beatrice Stringfellow.
He is survived by his wife Debra Mooneyhan Stringfellow of Fordyce; two sons Tony E. Stringfellow of Sheridan and Marvin "Bubba" Stringfellow of Kingsland; three daughters Judy King of Fordyce, Frances Gill of Bearden, and Rebecca "Becky" Sims of Pine Bluff; sister Ruby Brown of Pine Bluff; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 PM Wednesday at Stoney Point Cemetery near Fordyce with Rev. Kevin Stevicks and Rev. Bobby Hartgen officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.com .
