James Raymond Stell

James Raymond Stell of Fordyce died peacefully on November 13, 2025 surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Linda, two sons, Bryan (Libby) of Sheridan, AR, Gary of Fordyce and one daughter, Donna Stell Lane of Omaha, NE.

His grandchildren: Ashley (Ty) Purtzer of Hope, AR

Julianna Lane and Olivia Lane of Omaha, NE and Brandon (Libby) Stell Of Rison, AR

Bonus grandchildren: Cameron (Tori) Moix of Colorado Springs, Brendan Moix and Ryan Moix of Pueblo, Colorado

Great grandchildren: Brodie and Marlee Ann Barnes of Hope, AR and Ava Ann Stell of Rison, AR.

Bonus great grandchildren: Everlie and Anniston Brush of Colorado Springs, CO and Paisley Purtzer of Hope, AR, and many cousins, nieces, nephews.

He is also survived by his twin sister Ruth (Tommy) Mandrell of Benton, AR.

He was predeceased by his parents, James and Grace Stell of Fordyce and one, preborn brother.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 1pm to 2pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with funeral services following at 2pm with Rev. Kevin Hornaday and Brother Nathan Hubbard officiating. Burial will be at Stoney Point Cemetery near Fordyce. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
