James E. Ridings, 76, of Rockwall, TX died Wednesday. Born December 14, 1934 at Arbyrd, MO, he was a son of the late Jacob Edwin and Evelyn King Ridings. He is survived by his wife, Kaye Ridings of Rockwall, TX; son, James Ridings, Jr. and his wife, Ellen of Cumby, TX; daughter, Susan Ridings and her husband, Karl Hansen of Fordyce, AR; sisters Myra Elizabeth Conklin of Hilton Head, SC and Mary Martha Patton of Wharton, TX; grandson Noah Hansen and wife Rebecca; great-granddaughter, Isabel Kara Hansen; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Wheeler Cemetery with Noah Hansen officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit
