James Randall Raney

James “Randy” Raney, 83, of Celina, Texas formally of Fordyce passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. He was born on July 8, 1942 in Ivan to the late “Red” Raney and Allamerle Raney.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 52 years, Sandra Warrick Raney; one sister, Sheila Gray.

He is survived by a daughter, Toni Raney Verch and husband Kevin of Celina, TX; son, Scott Raney of Bryant, AR; one grandson, Jake Raney of Bryant, AR; two sisters, Barbara West of Sheridan, AR and Anita Raney of Colorado Springs, CO; two brothers, Tommy Raney of Redfield, AR and Tim Raney of Prosper, TX; many neices, nephews, in-laws, and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday evening on August 8, 2025 from 6PM to 8PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 10AM at Benton Funeral Home with Bro. Dusty Rhodes officiating. Burial will be at Wright Cemetery.
